 My Spy has been pulled from its August release date and is now slated for 'early 2020'

My Spy has been pushed back again! It's now scheduled for March 13th 2020

Is it possible that this is only for Northern America? According to the websites of cinemas around me, My Spy is set to be released on the 13th!

The release notice didn't say if it was region specific, but it could well be.


My local theatre websites still list it as 12th/13th too, though it's possible it hasn't updated in their systems yet, since the date change was only released a few hours ago. 


The best I can do at this point is say,  'we'll  just have to wait & see' 


Updates will be posted if /when we know more.

According to info/comments posted by actress Chloe Colemans reps  (chloecolmanact)  on  My Spy instagram, the date change only affects the US release.


In Canada & other territories it's still set for this Friday, March 13th.

With all the theatre shutdowns due to the current covid-19 crisis, MY SPY  is heading to Amazon Prime!

Amazon studios has picked up the rights for US & key foreign territories.  No streaming date as been announced as yet.


*Update* 

April 22nd - MY SPY  is scheduled to debut this Friday, April 24th. in Canada. It may also be avail in other countries. 

Hearing this will NOT inc the USA, though it may be released there at a later date.
